The theater

Three interesting volcano films are shown in this room. The story tells us about the volcanic phenomena of Batur and Agung Volcanoes, related-traditional culture around the volcano. Duration of film-show will be 20 minutes, in each.

Natural Phenomena of Batur Volcano is one of film-show in the museum. This film reveals volcanism of Batur volcano since plate tectonic processes, volcano formation, caldera formation and its related eruption producing ignimbrite, lava flows, and pyroclastic materials. Animated computer is shown to help understanding the volcanic processes.

Agung Volcano and Wisdom of Its Worshiper show volcanism of Agung volcano and volcanic unrest of 1963 eruption.

In addition, film-show tell about mythology of Bedawang Nala, which moved a part of top of Mount Mahameru over Bali Island. For the time being this will be a Agung and Batur Volcanoes. Another story dealing with fondation of Besakih Temple is showed in this film-show.
